Soft Contact Lens are made from gel-like, water-containing plastics that make them very thin and pliable so that they conform to the front surface of the eye. Even with proper care, contact lenses should be replaced as recommended to prevent the build-up of lens deposits and contamination which could increase your chances at acquiring an eye infection. Soft lenses are generally discarded: Daily, Bi-Weekly and Monthly.
